SunSwitch
SunSwitch
LORENTZ SunSwitch (light sensor) is an automatic switch that ensures that the control
device is opened or closed at predetermined radiation levels.
This device gets energy from a small solar panel at its back. It is in the IP54 protection
class against the environmental effects.
Some solar pumps (e.g. stepped ones) operate efficiently only when there is minimum radiation. When there is no sufficient radiation,
the pump rotates, but cannot get water. In this case, the pump heats and its life shortens.
LORENTZ SunSwitch (light sensor) can be used to connect to the mains via appropriate relays in order to supply power in applications
in which a minimum flow is needed for 24 hours. An example is the swimming pools for which a circulating pump must be operated
for 24 hours. Where solar energy fails to provide sufficient water circulation, Sun Switch can activate an additional power supply.
